Breitling has been making watches since 1884 and is known for their precise, fully Swiss-made timepieces, especially in the aviation industry. Breitling watches are categorized by Diving (SuperOcean), Aviation (Navitimer), and Luxury (Breitling for Bentley).
Breitling has designed and manufactured two in-house movements: The Breitling calibre B01 and B04 (a B01 with an added GMT module). In 2009 Breitling developed their own mechanical chronograph movement, the BR01, which was used in the Breitling Chronomat. The most expensive model at $175,000, the Breitling for Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon, features a platinum case, as well as a Flyback chronograph, perpetual calendar, and Tourbillon.
